Education: Duke University School of Medicine receiving a Master of Science, Physician Assistant Studies
Clinical Interests: I have a special interest in caring for patients with diabetes. As someone living with Type 1 diabetes myself, I understand firsthand the challenges and nuances of managing this condition. This personal experience, combined with my passion for chronic disease management, allows me to connect with patients on a deeper level. I also enjoy helping patients navigate their health at every stage of life, working together to improve their overall quality of care.
Philosophy of Care: I strive to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to take an active role in their health. By using evidence-based medicine, I ensure that my patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments. I want my patients to feel heard, respected, and supported, knowing that their health goals are at the heart of every decision we make together.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading fiction and thriller novels, as well as cooking and baking for family and friends, which I consider my love language. I also enjoy hiking and camping, and I love exploring the Durham area to discover new hidden gems, whether it’s a unique restaurant, a cozy bookstore, or a local coffee shop.
